NORTH PROVIDENCE SPECIAL EDUCATION LOCAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 

The purpose of the NORTH PROVIDENCE SPECIAL EDUCATION LOCAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (NPSELAC) is to improve communication, advocate partnership with parents, and encourage a greater understanding, acceptance, compassion, and inclusion of children with special education needs. NPSELAC advises the North Providence School Committee on special education services being offered, unmet needs of children with disabilities, developing and implementing future school improvement plans, applications for state and federal funding, and evaluation of special education services within the district.

 

The NPSELAC formally meets four times per year and welcomes all parents/caregivers to attend our meetings/workshops.  This school year we will be meeting at 6:30 in Birchwood Middle School’s library on:
